Start Baseline Acquisition
Overview
Section titled “Overview”The Start Baseline Acquisition action takes a baseline acquisition of the asset from the trigger and waits until it finishes.
Use it to capture a known-good state automatically, for example to take a baseline of every new server when it registers, or to refresh baselines on a schedule so later comparisons stay up to date.

| Case | Optional. The case the baseline is added to. |
| Trigger Other Automations | Off by default. When enabled, the baseline created by this action can start other automations that use the Baseline Acquisition Completed trigger. Leave it off to avoid automation loops. |
No acquisition profile is required, because baseline acquisitions use the built-in baseline collection of AIR.
